1. Vonnegut’s #7 tip

    Just read a great article: Kurt Vonnegut’s Eight Tips on How to Write a Good Short Story

    Number 7 was just awesome:  

    Write to please just one person. If you open a window and make love to the world, so to speak, your story will get pneumonia.

    I think that is so true beyond writing a short story. I think it is something to remember when working toward goals in your career, your friendships, your family and your love life.

    Personally I could read this as: Focus on one thing at a time, if you are spread too thin your gonna get sick girl! And as someone is knocked down almost monthly with an allergy/ stress mix cocktail, these are words to life (and die) by.
